GE by Regal Beloit Dry Capacitors are designed and manufactured with metallized polypropylene film to provide self healing properties and very low dielectric loses. These features, coupled with flame retardant plastic case and encapsulant make these capacitors ideally suited for permanent split phase motor applications as well as other applications where the user has determined that a dry metallized film capacitor with no internal protective device is suitable and acceptable.
